MyndTalkLondon provide "in school" therapy to support the health and wellbeing of students age 7-18. Currently 1 in 10 school children have a diagnosable mental health problem with statistics showing that early intervention is crucial in healthy development. Children as young as 6 years old are now being reported to be suffering with mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression, that present in a variety of ways including, withdrawal, negative classroom behaviours and excessive tiredness. This is why we support the Mental Health Foundation in their campaign for mental health to be at the heart of what children learn.
Studies show that by offering children the opportunity to learn about the emotions and how to handle them has a positive influence on their school life, home life and overall life satisfaction in the future.
At MyndTalkLondon, we are committed to providing a safe space for school age children to discuss any difficulties they are experiencing. We can help by offering mental health and well-being services that we believe can improve behaviour and have a positive impact on the productivity and future of these young people.
